鸳鸯头村位于东源乡东南部，荣霞公路沿线，靠近福鼎、霞浦两县交界，海拔820米，下辖三个自然村。全村104户365人，境内有柘荣鸳鸯草场。[1][4][5]

地理环境[edit]

村域山地11742亩；其中成材林为10406亩，幼林为3471亩，毛竹446亩，草地895亩。另有耕地416亩和茶园116亩。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

柘荣鸳鸯草场在村内，据百度百科占地约11267亩，海拔在980至1110米之间，2022年12月获批「国家4A级旅游景区」。[5]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来：村边山头上有两块岩石，形似一对鸳鸯。[2]

1934年村中设有苏维埃政府。1954年曾单设鸳鸯头乡，1956年并入青岚面乡；1965年成立大队，1984年大队撤销，改为村民委员会。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2023年12月，鸳鸯头村被命名为「2023年度福建省森林村庄」。[1]

2025年3月，该村被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」；2025年5月，被确认为「2024年度宁德市“一村一品”专业村」，主导产业为乡村旅游。[1]
