洋边村位于东狮山西南麓，紧邻柘荣县城南面，距县城和东源乡政府均不足两公里。全村102户，总人口322人，以种植业为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来：村民的房屋建在田洋边缘，故名洋边。[2]

1934年设洋边村苏维埃政府；1965年设洋边大队；1984年撤销大队，设立洋边村村民委员会。[3]

经济[edit]

村民以种植业为主，县城的蔬菜有一部分出自本村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予洋边村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
