东源村是东源乡人民政府的驻地，距县城仅约3公里，村中有东源桥与东源古建筑群等文物。全村下辖两个自然村，共602户2100人。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

全村总面积约9.67平方千米，其中林地约10500亩，包括国家级生态林2800亩。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：元朝初年，张姓人家迁居此地，村内水碓溪发源于东山，村名由此而来。[3]

1934年，本村设有东源乡苏维埃政府。1935年，村中成为东桃乡的联保处，分前、后两保；1944年并为东源一保，隶双城镇。1950年又建东源乡，归第一区管辖；1956年复隶双城镇，1958年改成东源大队，1965年随之归东源公社，1984年才称东源村委会。[4]

村中留有古宅、古戏台、古门楼、古井与鱼池等旧建筑，村子被列为宁德市历史文化名村。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

东源桥又名水浒桥，位于村尾，为单孔木梁桥。据百度百科，该桥始建于元至元元年（1335年），明嘉靖十三年（1534年）与清乾隆十六年（1751年）两次重修，现存桥体为清同治九年（1870年）建成，2006年被列为第六批全国重点文物保护单位。[1][5]

东源古建筑群建于清代至民国，以吴氏宗祠戏楼为核心，群内另有古书堂、培凤亭与吴成故居。该群于2018年9月定为福建省第九批省级文物保护单位。[6]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，东源村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2021年2月，该村入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」。[1]

2020年12月，东源村入选「2020年度福建省“一村一品”示范村」名单（茶叶）；2015年10月，入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」。[1]
