湄洋村是福建省宁德市柘荣县城郊乡下辖的行政村，位于县城西面，与城关相邻，村域内设有砚山洋工业园区。[1] 村名取自村址的地形，村庄像一只卧虎，建村之处正当虎眉的位置。[1] 县政府网站称该村处在城区规划建设范围之内。[3]

村庄海拔680米。全村土地5442亩，耕地941亩，林地3283亩。[1]
人口[edit]
博雅地名网载全村637户1792人，下辖5个自然村，该数字未注明年份。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1934年，湄洋乡已设苏维埃政府；1935年起为湄洋保，至1944年撤销。1952年建立湄洋乡，1956年并入双城镇，1959年改属城湄大队，1965年设湄洋大队，1984年改称湄洋村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村民发展太子参、白术、蔬菜等经济作物，村庄与砚山洋工业园区内的企业走「村企共建」的道路。[2]
文化[edit]
2021年11月，湄洋村经省爱卫办评定为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2021年2月，村庄入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]
