城郊乡是福建省宁德市柘荣县下辖的乡，位于县境北部偏东，与县城环形相接，乡政府驻河洋东路1号。[2] 全乡辖15个行政村，其中前山、赤岭、湄洋等6个村处在城区规划建设范围之内。[1] 乡境东邻乍洋乡，南连东源乡，西面与英山、楮坪两乡相接，北面隔交溪与浙江泰顺的仕阳镇相望。[1]

地名取自该乡位于城乡之间的地理位置。乡内以太子参、茶叶为主的特色农业较为突出，工业方面设有三处产业园区，涉及刀剪、生物医药与机械铸造等行业。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年以后，此地的建制名称多次改换，1975年恢复为城关公社，1980年改称城郊公社，1984年改设城郊乡。[2]

地理环境[edit]

乡域面积，县政府网站作74.75平方千米，博雅地名网作72.5平方千米，两说并存，以县政府网站所载为准。[1][2] 104国道经过乡境。[2]

人口[edit]

县政府网站称全乡常住人口为1.7万人，博雅地名网则作约1.6万人，二者均未注明年份。[1][2]

经济[edit]

乡内以太子参和茶叶为主要特色农业，县政府网站称城郊乡为首批国家农业产业强镇。[1] 2023年8月，城郊乡入选农业农村部、财政部公布的首批国家农业产业强镇，产业为太子参。[2] 2019年9月，城郊乡经农业农村部认定为太子参产业的第九批全国一村一品示范村镇。[2]

城郊乡还获得过若干省级荣誉：2023年2月上榜福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡镇，2023年福建省卫生乡镇的称号于2024年1月授予该乡，2024年2月入选第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇的创建对象。[2] 2012年至2013年度，该乡被评为国家级生态乡镇。[2]

文化[edit]

柘荣剪纸于2008年获列为国家级非物质文化遗产代表性项目，次年又被联合国教科文组织收入人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录。[4] 乡内靴岭尾村以剪纸带动文化旅游，村中建有柘荣剪纸传习馆。[5]

名胜古迹[edit]

前山大外厝位于前山村，始建于清代乾隆年间，由左、中、右三路厝屋组成，占地4290平方米，为省级文物保护单位。[3]
