东山村是富溪镇东南部的行政村，距镇所在地8公里。村名因山位于溪之东而得。[1]

地理环境[edit]

东山村海拔520米，辖游厝里、山岔门、黄土岗、岗坪、黄金坑、横坡、坑尾洋等自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年，东山乡设有苏维埃政府。1965年组建东山大队；1984年大队撤销，改为东山村村民委员会。[1]

2021年11月，东山村获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

经济[edit]

农民收入主要来自太子参、白术、茶叶和外出劳务。[1]
