紫竹村是玛坑乡的行政村，辖上、下后地两个自然村，全村257户860多人。村内现存多座木质古建筑，是国家第五批传统村落，也是省级乡村振兴试点村。[1]
古建筑[edit]
村内现存多座木质古建筑，其中一部分为「吊脚楼」样式，村中还有仙岗宫。[1]
搬迁与新村[edit]
2016年，紫竹村通过「造福工程」统一规划建设紫竹新村，2018年旧村112户村民全部迁入新村。旧村与新村之间隔着一条景观渠。[1]
产业[edit]
村域面积6.83平方千米，林地400多亩，耕地932多亩，茶园500多亩。林下种植黄精、草珊瑚、铁皮石斛等经济作物。[1]
乡内的玛坑工业园区设在紫竹村下后地一带，产业方向为锂电池与汽车配件。[2]
