溪兜村位于礼门乡西南部，离县城30公里，离乡政府6公里，隔着一条河便是屏南县双溪镇。村落海拔760米，紧靠屏南鸳鸯溪的下游。[2]

村庄是丘陵山地，气候属亚热带季风的山地类型：无霜期约280天，一年日照时间在1500小时以上，平均气温13至26摄氏度，年降雨量在900毫米至1300毫米之间。[2]

全村林地面积10423.2亩，其中竹林960.25亩，生态林3892.5亩，森林覆盖率在85%以上。村内人口较多的姓氏为陈姓、张姓。[2]
