村名由来[edit]
村名早先叫石竹坑，后因村中的石林景观改称常源。[1]
经济与林业[edit]
全村耕地为828亩；村集体名下的林木超过4000亩，其中有400余亩被界定为生态公益林。种植业以锥栗与毛竹最为常见。[2]
荣誉与保护[edit]
在2019年6月，常源村进入第五批中国传统村落的名录；更早的2015年10月，它已被纳入福建省第一批省级传统村落。[1]
2023年2月，常源村入选福建省第三批高级版「绿盈乡村」名单；同年12月，村子获得「2023年度福建省森林村庄」称号；2025年3月，村里又入选福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村之列。[1]
村情简介另外提到，村子还获得市级金牌旅游示范村、省乡村治理示范村等称号，并称2021年申报了「国家2A级」景区。[2]
