大林村是礼门乡下辖的行政村，位于乡政府西北方向约13公里，海拔820米，为革命老区村。全村156户569人，下辖大坪、七普林、岭头、下洋坑4个自然村。[2][1]

村名由来[edit]

村名取自大坪与七普林两个自然村名的首字与末字，合成“大林”。[1]

水资源与林地[edit]

芹溪流经七普林和大坪两个自然村，村内建有大林电站，装机1260千瓦。耕地约500亩，林地约3700多亩，另有树龄200多年的原始生态林20多亩。[2]
