常洋村位于福建省宁德市周宁县泗桥乡东北约12公里处，在寨坮山下，是村委会驻地。村名由田洋的形状而来，据称已有三百余年历史。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋初此地隶属宁德县关隶镇，明代隶属寿宁县。1958年归坂坑乡管辖，同年建常洋大队；1966年8月起属泗桥乡，1981年为常洋村委会。[1][2]

村名的来历是，村下方的田洋形如小船，故称船洋；后因“船”与“常”在方言中读音相近，写作常洋。[1][2]

村辖常洋、西洋中两处自然村。西洋中村因村居田洋中部而得名。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

居民以郑、刘两姓为主，早期由浦源、芹山迁来。[1][2]

村中有宫观庙宇与大厅各一座，并有柳杉、水松等古树。[1][2]
