历史沿革[edit]
1947年，此地设周墩乡，下辖林源村。1950年10月，此处建起大队的建制；直到1986年7月，才正式成为村委会。[1][2]
村域原辖11个自然村，现下辖的九处自然村依次为：上三望洋、下三望洋、坑口、茶场、溪尾楼、王厝基、禾池、大山与下西坑本村。龙主岗、温树林两处已废弃，居民陆续迁往他处。[1][2]
大山村依高大的后山建村，故得名，居民于1708年由浙江庆元迁来。下西坑村的吴姓居民则于1730年由浙江庆元迁来。[1][2]
人口民族[edit]
村中居民以吴姓为主。溪尾楼、茶场、坑口等处以吕姓为主，上三望洋为张姓，下三望洋另有叶、谢、刘姓。[1][2]
经济[edit]
村民以农业为主，主产水稻、生姜、茶叶、马铃薯、地瓜、板栗。村民外出务工经商的人数较多。[1][2]
