周墩村位于福建省宁德市周宁县泗桥乡西北部，距302省道约1.2公里，海拔约860米，是村委会驻地。村名来自一座由周氏祖母所建的桥，村中旧时杨梅树多，又称杨梅周墩。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋初此地隶属宁德县关隶镇。1955年成立周墩乡，1958年归赤岩乡管辖，1961年改设周墩大队，此后归泗桥乡管辖。1981年改称周墩村委会。[1][2]

村落建于四百余年前，最初的居民由贡川、西门迁入。[1][2]

村辖周墩、竹岭、下岔头、傍洋、底洋五处自然村，其中下岔头、傍洋、底洋已废弃，居民迁往周墩等村。所辖竹岭村有古廊桥一座。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

居民以陈、黄两姓为主。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村民以农业为主，主产水稻、茶叶、黄豆、马铃薯，特产有鸳鸯果。村民还外出经商务工。[1][2]
