泗桥乡位于福建省宁德市周宁县西北部，西北与福建政和县接壤，乡政府设在泗桥村。乡名的来历有两说：一说是泗水河横穿村落，河上原有四座桥，各通一处岔路古道，故名泗桥；一说原有一座泗洲桥，为通往邻县的枢纽。[1][2][5]
历史沿革[edit]
宋初这一带原属宁德县关隶镇。咸平三年（1000年）起划入建宁府关隶县，关隶县在政和五年改名政和县。[3][4]
景泰六年（1455年）起归寿宁县管辖，编入政和里七都。民国年间由寿宁县的纯池、赤岩两乡分管，1950年改为寿宁县第六区，即纯池区。[3][4]
1955年9月，纯池区改属周宁县，区内随即划出泗桥、周墩、赤岩、坂坑、硋窑五个乡。[3][4]
1958年，赤岩、坂坑两乡改设人民公社。1961年8月，纯池公社分出12个大队，另立泗桥公社。1963年3月起并入浦源区，1966年8月重新设立泗桥公社，直到1984年4月才成为乡建制。[4]
地理环境[edit]
乡内木材、毛竹蓄积量多，是周宁县主要林区之一。博雅地名网载，境内有储量较大的高岭土和稀土矿。[2]
芹山电站为国家二级电站，建在乡境之内，湖区养殖与芹山湖生态旅游的发展，也以该电站为条件。[2][7]
人口民族[edit]
百度百科载，2018年末户籍人口16133人。快懂百科另有一数，为2020年11月1日的常住人口7931人。两组数字统计的口径与年份不同，使用时需要注明。[5][6]
经济[edit]
博雅地名网称，水稻、食用菌、茶叶是乡内的支柱产业，其中茶叶方面有台商在乡内开辟的乌龙茶基地，并建有乌龙茶加工厂。[2]
乡内的特产除泥鳅面、魔芋粉条外，还有甘薯粉条、官司云雾茶、官司绿茶，以及周宁高山马铃薯。[2]
文化[edit]
福建省农业农村厅在2022年10月的认定中，将泗桥乡列入「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[2]
2014年9月，环境保护部授予泗桥乡「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。[2]
2024年1月，泗桥乡获评「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
硋窑村东侧的一处宋代瓷窑遗址，1983年列为县级文物保护单位，出土遗物有青瓷、影青釉瓷与白瓷。[8]
泗桥村溪尾的兴寿庵始建于明崇祯四年（1631年），此后经多次重修。[9]
