前溪村在镇区西北约20公里，是纯池镇的行政村，村委会驻前溪自然村，村域内有许氏宗祠与古廊桥。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名原为胡店，因有小溪自林源村流经村前，后改名前溪。[1]

此后1958年起设为大队，1980年改为村委会。[1]

原在村西约300米的山湖庵，1993年迁往主村，庵堂在主村另行重建。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

耕地2100多亩，林地4000多亩，海拔880米。[1]

村民以许姓为主，另有外来人口160人，常住人口230人。[1]

外出经商务工者约850人，创办企业6家。[1]

产业与古迹[edit]

农业以水稻、茶叶、板栗为主。[1]

村域内有许氏宗祠、古廊桥、珊瑚庵与上店庵，村中有古柳杉数株。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2017年8月，前溪村列入「福建省第二批省级传统村落」名录；2019年6月，列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录。[2]
