纯池村是纯池镇的行政村，村委会设在同名的纯池自然村，属镇中心区，为革命老区行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此地属关隶县，即今政和县境内。明景泰六年（1455年）之后改属寿宁县。[1]

1950年至1957年间，村里先设乡，1958年改为大队，直到1984年才设立村委会，沿用至今。[1]

村名原称淳江，清同治年间因避讳改“淳”为“纯”、“江”为“池”，遂有今名。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村域面积约16平方公里，水田2586亩，茶园3260余亩，山林超过两万亩，经济作物以板栗和茶叶为主。[1]

名胜与人物[edit]

村西的磐若寺始建于唐初，1984年重建，占地400多平方米。[1]

村东山上的天柱石，俗称石笏，博雅地名网记其高15米，周长约13米，远观貌似石碑。[1]

村中出过「八烈士」，即徐升须、徐以岩等八人，博雅地名网列有其名。[1]

2024年2月，纯池村被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[2]
