宅头村隶属七步镇，村委会设于宅头自然村，东面与七步村相接，村内辖宅头、坎下、坪路下三个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1979年自团结大队析出，另设大队；1984年起为村委会建制。[1]

人口民族[edit]

耕地面积1651亩，林地面积1581亩；农产以茶叶、毛竹和多种水果为大宗。[1]
