象运村是七步镇的行政村，村委会驻象运下村，辖五个自然村，其中文潭村为畲族村。[1]

地名[edit]

相传古时村民放牧，所牧之牛大如象，后人借「象运」寓意景运亨通，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年归端源区，公社时期设大队，1984年改设村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内有五个自然村，分别是象运上村、象运下村、里路村、黄县和文潭村，其中文潭为畲族村。博雅地名网记全村设15个村民小组，常住208人，全村共1398人、263户。[1]
