村子坐落在山岔之间，村周多桐树，因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年归李墩区，1959年划入七步公社并设桐岔大队，1984年改设村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内现辖桐岔、柯坪、梨坪三个自然村，其中桐岔自然村为畲汉混居村。[1]

人口民族[edit]
