八蒲村位于七步镇南部，距镇政府驻地8公里，村中的登龙桥是省级重点文物保护单位。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

本村最早见于南宋淳熙九年（1182年）成书的《三山志》，书中称之为「八坊」。[2]

民国时期，本地设保，隶属七溪乡。1950年设八蒲乡，属第四区，即七步区。1958年归七步人民公社，1963年改设八蒲公社，1966年复归七步公社（当时区乡建制已撤销）。1984年撤社改乡镇建制，村属七步乡，其后七步乡改为七步镇。[2]

四周山峰海拔650—1000多米，八蒲溪自西向东呈S形穿过村中。[2]

人口民族[edit]

百度百科记本村户籍人口1663人。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的登龙桥为有廊屋的古桥。清康熙年间水毁后由村民募建，乾隆与道光年间又经修缮和重建；省人民政府于2005年将其列为省级重点文物保护单位。[2][4]

村内的自然景观有龙井峡谷、亲凉谷，春季则有油菜花田。[3]

民俗文化[edit]

村中有端午节「走桥抛粽」的习俗。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
