江源村位于周宁县东北一隅，处在周宁、福安、寿宁三县（市）的交界处，距县城15公里。全村总面积约5.86平方千米，海拔685米，分为11个村民小组。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子东北一侧与寿宁县凤阳乡的半岭洋村、福安市晓阳镇的首笕自然村相邻；西面紧接五源村，北面是西山村；南面隔溪与进登、半岭、龙亭相望。[1]

人口民族[edit]

全村465户，共1660人，包括高山、渡头两个自然村。主村多为郑姓，另有李、肖、张等姓氏。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子是周宁县的革命基点村，属闽东革命老根据地的一部分，村中有革命斗争的传统。[1]
