五源村又名五源坑村，位于浦源镇东北15公里，海拔585米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明正德元年（1506年），夏泰七自寿宁县际头村迁至后池（今江源），居住数年。后因寻牛群来到牛荡山，觉得此地宜居，便迁入定居，取名五源坑。[1]

1984年8月起改设五源坑村民委员会，归浦源乡管辖。[1]
