龙住院村位于周宁北部，距县城17公里，离镇政府14公里。村子东与五源、龙亭两村相接，西与泗桥乡交界，南面是大麻岭山脉，北面临钟山桥库区。全村辖3个自然村、6个村民小组，共46户871人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

吴至道来自浙江庆源县，于五代后晋开运三年（946年）迁居此地拓荒。[2]

1979年6月，从龙亭大队中分出，另成龙住院大队；1984年起改为村民委员会。[3]
