进登村在周宁北部，海拔540米。它距县城17公里，离镇政府13公里。村落面积约1.5平方千米，全村8个村民小组，共355户1278人，常住人口320余人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋元时期，进登属宁德县青田乡十六都。1952年，进登从龙亭乡划出，另立乡级建制；1958年9月起归龙亭公社管辖。[2]

1959年1月，龙亭分出上进登、下进登两个大队；1960年，上、下进登与半岭合为进登乡。1966年8月，半岭分出，复设进登大队；1984年8月起改为村民委员会，归浦源乡管辖。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村东面与福安晓阳镇相接，西面有萌源、半岭两村相邻，北面连着龙亭与江源。周寿公路从后门山一带穿过村境；村里的水泥道路于2004年通车。[1]

经济[edit]

村内有8000多亩阔叶林和松树林，矿产有辉绿岩、石英石和磁铁矿。前坪电站水库形成的人工湖约500多亩，可发展网箱养鱼。[1]

村民外出务工，去向主要是广东、湖北、湖南与上海。[1]

文化[edit]

2006年，村被评为「省级社会主义新农村」；2015年，被评为「省级美丽乡村」。[1]
