萌底村在周宁中部，仙风山脚下，背靠大麻岭山脉的延伸段。村子距县城5公里，距镇政府3公里，有萌底、岔头两个自然村，6个村民小组，共417户1638人。村落面积约0.9平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

萌底先由游、陈两姓拓居。明嘉靖年间，魏椿九先迁柿洋（今仕洋）数年，后定居萌底。[2]

1966年8月，萌底由萌源乡分出，设立大队；1984年8月改为村民委员会，隶属浦源乡。[3]

地理环境[edit]

与萌源村为东邻，上洋村在西侧，端源村居南，北面则是大麻岭山脉。[1]

人口民族[edit]

村中常住人口约736人，占全村人口45%；外出流动人口约902人，占55%。外出者去向包括上海、广东、广西、江苏、云南、贵州，多做买卖或打工。[1]

文化[edit]

2018年，村被确定为市级美丽乡村试点村。[1]
