端源村在周宁县中部，鲤鱼溪下游一带，东洋溪从村旁经过。它距县城约4公里，距浦源镇政府约1.5公里。全村下设端源、吴厝两个自然村，共29个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年7月至1958年8月，端源是周宁县第一区公所所在地；1958年9月至1963年3月，成为端源人民公社的驻地。1984年改设村委会。[2]

地理环境[edit]

周寿公路穿村而过，东侧与萌源村相接，西侧与浦源村相邻。村域面积约3.24平方千米。[1]

经济[edit]

村里有林业用地两千多亩，松木和毛竹各有千亩左右。粮食以水稻、甘薯为主；板栗、油柰、魔芋、生姜、茶叶、黄豆与马铃薯等也有种植。[1]
