樟岗村位于咸村镇西南方约18公里处，地处偏远的深山区，群山环绕，森林密布，是革命老区基点村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
老村据称肇基于元朝末年，位于深山之中。[4]
樟岗在1950年曾设乡，1952年划归枣岭乡；1979年起称樟岗大队，1985年7月才改为村委会。[2]
2002年，老村成为省级扶贫开发重点村；2004年又被列为造福工程搬迁村，2005年全村集体迁至咸村镇区石排洋的樟岗新村安置点。[1]
村中樟木较多，村落坐落在石龙山脚的山岗上，因此得名樟岗。[3]
文化[edit]
村中留有许多革命遗迹，在革命战争年代，樟岗曾是重要的革命根据地之一。[1]
经济[edit]
村中以传统农业为主，种植水稻、玉米、蔬菜等作物，并由合作社发展水果种植与禽畜养殖。[1]
