王宿村位于咸村镇北部，是革命老区村，村庄海拔700米，也是福建省历史文化名村和福建省传统村落。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村落先在1955年组建初级社，1958年并入人民公社并设大队，1985年才改设村委会。[1]

相传唐代岳王曾在此过夜，后人因此称此地为“王宿地”，解放后简称王宿。[3]

2016年获「福建省历史文化名村」称号，2018年列入「福建省传统村落」，2019年则入选「全国旅游扶贫重点村」。[1]

文化[edit]

村中有「三年一贡」宫廷礼仪，是周宁县内独特的非物质文化遗产，县级非遗；接祖仪式也保留了唐代服饰与古礼的流程。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中有古官道、刀枪墓、兵散岭与唐王宫等历史古迹。自然景观则有吾东溪峡谷、佛下廊桥、古松林、猴头石柱与天山顶。[1]

经济[edit]

据政府村情简介，一带探明有金矿，铀矿尚待开发；村中主要农副产品有水稻、地瓜、竹、木、茶叶与板栗。[1]
