枣岭村位于咸村镇西北方向，距镇政府13公里，海拔650米，是周宁县的老区村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
相传唐代岳王途经此地夜宿，次日出发时将此地称为“早岭”，后演变为今名。[2]
1936年春，闽东红军的三纵队由阮英平、沈冠国率领，前往天山与碧岩，并与叶飞部会合。[1]
同年，红军在枣岭水尾与国民党保安独立旅的200多人交战，击毙、击伤敌人20多人，缴获一批武器，此战史称「枣岭阻击战」。[1]
2018年1月，县政府把枣岭阻击战旧址所在地收入「周宁县红色文化遗存和革命遗址」名录。[1]
