南门楼村是革命老区村，主村位于咸村镇东北方约8公里处，海拔340米，旧名福源。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，南门楼隶属樟源大队；1979年又从中分出，另立南门楼大队；1985年7月，大队改为村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

经济以农林为主，茶叶、毛竹、木材与柑橘是主要产物。[1]

辖区内的咸格自然村曾在地质勘探中发现一定储量的钼矿与硫磺矿资源。[1]
