梅山村位于咸村镇东部约7公里处，海拔260米，村庄依山而建，四周群山环抱，气候常年凉爽湿润。[1]

村中通用闽东方言北支咸村霍童平话，经济以农林业为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村中开基始祖迁来后，见住地前漫山杨梅成林，于是以“梅山”为村名。[2]

1958年组成人民公社，1985年由公社改设村委会。[1]

村中水果以本地所产的梅山柿子为代表。[1]
