詹家洋村位于咸村镇西北部的丘陵之中，老村海拔640米，原为老区村，后整村迁入咸村镇区的安置新村。[1][2]

政府村情简介所载的人口为166户597人，本村同时也是易地搬迁的安置村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年詹家洋属樟岗乡管辖。1958年起，这里设为人民公社下的詹家洋大队，1985年转为村委会。[2][3]

2008年，詹家洋村被确定为造福搬迁工程的试点村，全村集体迁往咸头洋的詹家洋新村安置点。[2]

经济[edit]

农林业是村民主要的收入来源，种植的有水稻、茶叶，另产木材与竹子。[2]
