洋中村是咸村集镇所在的行政村，村民的居住区设在集镇中心，村落自山腰层层而下，伸向桃源溪冲刷出的河谷地段。[1]

村中的古建筑群由庙、祠、宅、仓、桥等各类建筑组成，既有建于明末的石拱木廊阁亭桥，也有清代建造的阁亭与有580年历史的洋中大厅。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

洋中村在1958年组成人民公社，此后改为大队，1985年改设村委会。[2]

经济[edit]

村民收入以农业为主，全村有耕地3460亩、林地2200亩（政府村情简介，发布于2024年10月）。[1]

文化[edit]

村中有县级文物保护单位十一处，包括文昌阁、孙氏宗祠、魁星阁、孙氏书院与桃源观等古建筑；另有不可移动文物六处，如宋故彭十一娘墓与洋中陶圈井。[1]

村内曾发现商周时期新石器时代的黄土人文化遗址（衙前），出土过硬陶印纹、石锛、石矛、石斧与石锄等遗物。[1]

2018年，洋中村被列入第四批「中国传统村落」。[1]
