村子位于乡境北部，海拔673米，占地约1.5平方千米，距下党乡政府所在地约3.2公里。[1]

村子下辖3个自然村，其中梅只岗已全村搬迁，无人居住。2003年12月另设建制，是下党乡最晚设立的行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村中始祖沈学道、沈学乐迁入，至今约150多年。[1]

1953年，村子划入平溪区碑坑乡；1958年设大队；1965年7月改属平溪公社；1984年改大队为村委会。[1]

2003年12月，碑坑山、福园、梅只岗三个自然村组成新的行政村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年10月，村子经省农业农村厅认定，列为第二批乡村治理示范的村镇之一；2024年6月，被列入第四批福建省高级版绿盈乡村名单。[1]
