葛垅村位于下党乡东部，村子东侧为阜莽村，西侧是下屏峰村，南面连着溪源村，北面与托溪乡的新良坑相接。[1]

村名的传说是，先人开基时此地盛产葛藤，故名葛垅。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1936年时村子归溪源保管辖，1950年改属尤溪乡。1958年9月转入芹洋人民公社，1961年另设大队，归溪源人民公社管理。[1]

1964年7月，葛垅大队并入溪源公社；翌年7月，溪源公社又并入芹洋公社。1984年，大队改为村委会。[1]

1988年元月，村子划入下党乡。[1][2]

1989年9月，经县人大批准，单独设立葛垄村委会；1990年4月，村委会正式设立。[1]
