黄南州村在托溪乡西北边缘，邻接浙江的庆元县岭头乡，下属三个自然村，分别为黄南州、栋洋与三丘田[1][2]。村在寿宁县西南部，海拔450米至1600米，气候属亚热带季风类型[2]。

地名由来[edit]

村原名黄朱周，明代居住黄、朱、周三姓；三姓后来衰落或迁走，蔡氏始祖自浙江庆元县蒲潭迁入。因村位于寿宁南部，改名黄南州[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1984年托溪撤社建乡后，黄南州、栋洋、三丘田分设黄南州村委会[1][2]。

语言[edit]

村民通行寿宁话和蛮锤话[2]。
