渺洋村位于闽浙边界的高山上，主村海拔799米，最高处超过1200米，下辖6个自然村[1][2]。村名取“渺”字，因村域较小，地势狭长平缓，四周青山环抱，形似一处山间小洋[1]。

人口与姓氏[edit]

截至2021年，村内户籍人口为350户、1113人[2]。村中练、毛、叶、胡四姓居民，练姓于清道光年间自庆元杨桥村迁入，毛姓于清嘉庆年间自庆元青竹村迁入[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，村属鹤溪乡的渺洋保。1950年11月起归第四区托溪区管辖，称渺洋乡；1956年芹洋区成立，村随后划入托溪乡。1959年改为托溪公社渺洋大队，1963年曾并入芹洋区，1965年撤区并社，村再度回到托溪公社[1]。

村民以种水稻为主，林业、茶叶与畜牧为辅[2]。
