可观村在芹洋乡东南部，离乡政府所在地芹洋村15.5公里，东边与清源乡相邻，南面隔溪与斜滩镇石井村相望。全村辖7个自然村：可观、西坑、下西坑、外塆、洋边、岩头岗、岗后。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子四面群山环抱，景致优美，值得一看，因此称可观。原名“可更”，因当地俗语中“更”与“罐”谐音，改为今名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明正统年间，吴姓始祖到此搭寮养菇；清康熙六年（1667年），胡姓始祖迁入。新中国成立初属托溪区九岭乡，1950年改属可观乡，1959年撤区并社后设芹洋公社可观大队；1984年撤社建乡，设芹洋乡可观村委会。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
地形以山地和丘陵为主，海拔464米。2006年村内道路完成硬化。[2]
经济[edit]
水稻、茶叶、毛竹和木材是村里的主要物产。[2]
文化[edit]
本村获得2023年福建省卫生村称号，命名时间为2024年1月。[1]
