茗坑村在芹洋乡北部，海拔539米，离乡政府所在地芹洋村4公里，辖1个自然村。全村127户，621人。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村名原作“茶坑”，寓意茗茶；村中三条小坑汇合，俗称“三坑”，后演变为今名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

叶、王、杨等姓先后迁入此地。新中国成立初归托溪区九岭乡管辖，1956年改属芹洋区；1959年撤区并社后，成为芹洋公社茗坑大队。[1]

经济[edit]

村中的西瓜、土豆、茶叶、软籽石榴、红心猕猴桃与黄桃，是当地的特色农产。[1]
