历史沿革[edit]
因位于修竹村上游、地势高于修竹村，取名“上修竹”。开基之祖与修竹、长溪村的李氏同宗，为了区别而另取此名。[2]
地理环境[edit]
村下设八垅啶、岔头坂、山后3个自然村，共8个村民小组。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中有肇基年代建成的木结构众厅，面积约150平方米，2016年曾修缮。北面的大王林里有5棵挂牌保护的古树。[2]
经济[edit]
村中主产水稻、茶叶和脐橙。[2]
