历史沿革[edit]
村史称，北宋靖康元年（1126年）有李姓先祖定居于此，周围翠竹成片，于是取名修竹；因位于修竹之下，遂称下修竹。[2]
地理环境[edit]
全村辖区面积6.7平方公里。村中武济、粗坑、上中洋、深湾、后井坑与下修竹等6个自然村中，深湾和后井坑因地质灾害隐患，村民已迁往武济。[2]
经济[edit]
水稻、茶叶、脐橙、毛竹和木材是村里的主要物产。[2]
文化[edit]
2005年，村里获中共寿宁县委评为文明村（指2003至2004年度）；2006年获评集体产权制度改革先进村，2007年获评先进基层党组织。[2]
