林山村位于坑底乡西北部，距坑底1千米，海拔924米[1]。村名原作「稠林山」，因环村林木茂密而得名，后人简称为林山[1]。全村人口358户1318人，以吴、叶两姓为主[2]。

村名原称稠林山村，因环绕村子的林木稠密而得名，后来简称林山村[1]。

人口民族[edit]

常住人口358人，其中60岁及以上的有237人，占66%；外出流动人口960人，占全村人口的72%，主要流向宁德和浙江，多从事经商和务工[2]。

地理环境[edit]

村子海拔924米，年平均气温14.2℃。土地总面积7989.5亩，其中林地5230.2亩，耕地1828.5亩[1][2]。

经济[edit]

传统种植业以水稻、毛竹和茶叶为主，特产有沙果、茅菜、菊苣、茴香、青豆、通菜和桃子[2]。
