地名由来[edit]
村子轮廓形似一枚剖开的鸡蛋，一条小溪穿村而过。民间因此有「半圆」的说法，村名由「半圆」谐音而来。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中有古寺庙、古宗祠和古民居，建筑规模宏大。泮洋溪下游有冰臼、天然溶洞等自然景观。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年2月，本村列入福建省第三批省级传统村落名单；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为2021年福建省卫生村；2022年10月，本村列入第六批中国传统村落。[2]
