炭山村是寿宁县大安乡东北部的行政村，东接犀溪镇，北与坑底乡毗邻，距乡政府所在地10公里。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村子原名「半山」，住在半山坡上。因山深林密，居民过去多烧制木炭，遂改称炭山。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

吴姓是本村主姓，始祖吴春喜于清代由浙江景宁县上标炼石迁入，至今传十三世。[1]

1953年，此地析出炭山乡；1958年归鳌阳公社管辖，设炭山大队；1970年改隶大安公社；1984年改为大安乡下辖的炭山村委会。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

本村曾是寿宁革命斗争的根据地之一，1931年范浚曾在此组织发展红带会。[1]

叶飞等人曾在炭山银矿洞内养伤，村内留有「红军洞」。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为2021年福建省卫生村。[1]
