地名由来[edit]
村子上部原名老厝，后正式定名溪乾。据博雅地名网，先人开山建村于溪边，故名溪乾。[2][3]
历史沿革[edit]
明代，本村属政和里西门十二都；村中银矿资源丰富，是当时的四大银坑之一，留有十余处银坑旧址。[1]
明末朝廷曾派太监在此设点开采官银，村名因此一度叫作「太监府」。[1][2]
村中叶姓为大姓，其先祖叶从纪于乾隆十二年（1747年）来此定居。[1]
