角林村位于寿宁县城东南的大岗山东南麓，离县城5公里，辖角林和岭头洋两个自然村。1935年1月，驻角林的红军闽东独立师在此击退国民党军的多次进攻。村中的角林森林公园，博雅地名网称为宁德市唯一的村级森林公园。[1][2][3]
历史沿革[edit]
据说最先来角林开垦的是周氏祖先。清初何氏由浙江景宁迁来，与周氏共同垦拓，后来柳氏也迁至此处，村中以周、何、柳三姓为多。[3]
何僖与何宗宏两人于1930年走上革命道路，当时有本地人从旁引导。全县1933年末转为公开的革命活动后，角林设立了上东区苏维埃政府。次年春天形势转入低谷，因地势险峻，这里成了县区乡政府与游击队的驻扎中心。[2]
1935年1月，驻角林的红军闽东独立师完成整编，随后击退国民党军的数次进攻，敌方被歼五十余人，另有数人被俘，有两名红军战士牺牲在大岗头。[2]
1950年11月，此地改设角林乡，归第一区鳌阳区管辖。1958年，乡改由县直接管理；1959年建角林大队，划入南阳公社。1961年，它又被并入鳌阳区安章小公社。1965年随撤区并社，改归岱阳公社。1984年撤社建乡，成为清源乡下属的角林村委会，2017年9月改设清源镇角林村委会。[3]
地理环境[edit]
村子高度在906至1201米之间，聚落范围约2平方千米，土地近8000亩，森林茂密，竹木丰盛。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
角林森林公园规划总面积107公顷，园中设有山庄，另有亭、台、楼、阁与千年古树，并有学士岩、将军岩、夫妻岩和天池等景点。园内还生长着红豆杉、柳杉等国家重点保护的珍稀植物。1935年红军闽东独立师的作战遗址、战壕与驻地旧址也保存于此。[2]
