下党村位于凤阳镇北部，距镇政府约10千米，海拔450米，辖5个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

本村原名下墩村，因村旁隆起一个小土墩而得名。[1]

郑氏始祖尧成于清乾隆年间（1736年至1795年）迁入此地。[2]

明代此地归寿宁县福安里六都，清代属西南乡；民国时期，村子成为斜滩区凤阳乡的一部分。1952年本村列入第七区的基德乡。1958年改属东星公社下党大队，1964年撤区并社后归凤阳公社。[2]

1980年因与他村同名，改称下垱大队。1984年撤社建乡后，本村为凤阳乡下的下垱村委会，此后又改称下党村委会。2015年随凤阳乡改镇。[2][3]

耕地方面有水田615亩，果园120亩，茶园583亩。[1]
