历史沿革[edit]
本村旧称新安村。村中民房盖在一棵榴树下，故称榴厝；榴与留音近，又作留厝，解放后定名刘厝。[1]
明嘉靖年间（1522年至1566年），张氏先人迁来肇基，至今已繁衍18世。据老人讲，张姓迁入之前已有吕姓在此居住，但吕姓已无后裔。[3]
明代寿宁建县后，本村划入坊隅、政和里九都。清朝时它隶属南乡，民国年间则是凤阳乡的一部分。1952年本村为第七区凤阳区的刘厝乡，1958年改称凤阳东星公社刘厝大队，1959年转为凤阳公社刘厝大队。[3]
经济[edit]
村两委依托地域和自然资源优势，鼓励村民种植特晚熟葡萄、黄桃等经济作物，目前葡萄约1300亩，黄桃约120亩。[2]
