北山村位于凤阳镇东北部，离镇政府约7千米，海拔728米，是革命老区村。全村辖4个自然村、11个村民小组。2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

本村旧属福安县，旧称福安里五都复山仔村。村庄依次建在朝南的北山坡地上，因而得名北山。[1]

村子在明代归寿宁县福安里五都管辖，清朝时划入南乡，1949年以前是凤阳乡的北山保。村中郑姓是最早迁居主村的一支，迁入已有500多年。[2]

1952年划入第七区，称北山乡。1958年起隶属东星公社，此后又随凤阳公社、凤阳区等体制变动。1984年撤社建乡，此地成为凤阳乡下辖的北山村委会，2015年随凤阳乡改镇。[2][3]

经济[edit]

村中主要种植水稻、甘薯、马铃薯，经济作物有茶叶、油茶和葡萄。[1]
