溪底村位于福建省宁德市寿宁县平溪镇西部，距镇政府驻地平溪村4公里，东与上洋村接壤，南与燕科村相接，西与南溪村交界，北与下党乡相邻。[1][2][3]

地名由来[edit]

一说村庄原名溪鲤，因村前河流盛产鲤鱼得名；因方言中“鲤”与“底”音近，遂改称溪底。另有一说，原名溪里，因村庄建在溪的里面而得名。[3][5]

历史沿革[edit]

毛姓最先迁入、定居此地，其后王姓自下党迁入。[4]

1949年前村属平溪乡；1950年为第三区（平溪区）的溪底乡。1959年隶平溪公社，设溪底大队。1984年公社改为乡，大队改称溪底村委会；2013年底乡改镇，村委会名称保留。[4]

经济[edit]

村内重点产业为茶叶与锥栗，盛产茶叶、毛竹。村辖溪底、云雾坑、水坑洋3个自然村，村集体经济2021年收入超过50万元。[3]

文化[edit]

2020年，溪底村被评为省级森林村庄。[3]
